Al Dhafra sign a second USA player, ex Teuta

Al Dhafra landed 27-year-old American 202cm forward Tamas Bruce (college: Arkansas State), agency: BIG for the new season. Bruce joins another USA player Victor Bermudez who is already on the roster.

He played most recently at Teuta in Albanian Superliga. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 24 Superliga games he averaged 13.0ppg, 8.8rpg, 2.1apg and 2.0spg. He helped them to win the league title and the Supercup. It was a very successful season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com Albanian Superliga All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week. Bruce also played 18 games in Liga Unike where he had 14.7ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.7apg, and 1.3spg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. Bruce can count that season as very successful as he was selected to Eurobasket.com Liga Unike All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week. The other team he played shortly was Ylli in Kosovan Superliga. In two games he recorded 7.0ppg, 3.5rpg, and 1.0spg.

He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. Bruce is familiar with European, African, and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Argentina, Tunisia (JS Manazeh and Dalia Sport Grombalia), Kosovo (Lipjani), and Armenia (Artik and Erebuni).

Bruce graduated from Arkansas State in 2018 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
